In fact I also have so knitting updates. So over this holiday weekend I made real progress on my socks. I finished the 1st sock and I am almost ready to start the heel on the 2nd. I can't wait to be able to wear these socks. They look nice, understated, but nice.
ETA: Since this picture I have knitted the heel flap, turned the heel and started the gusset but now I have to unknit the gusset, because there are these horrible holes on the side. It has to be fixed !!! Also look what came for me in the mail the other day. Some beautiful, soft , luscious Socks that Rock! I got Pebbles Beach and Cobalt bloom. My next Jaywalker is going to be Pebbles Beach, I am trying to finish my 1st pair before I cast on for this one, but it is hard, oh it is so hard. I carry the yarn and needles in my knitting bag. Hopefully by this week I will be finished with my first pair and can guilt free cast on for my second pair.
This is the other thing I am working on. It is the Picovili Shirt, also designed by Grumperina (Her designs are wonderful!) I just happened to have some yarn in my stash that was perfect for it. I am using:
Yarn: Classic Elite Provenance
Color: I wanna say lime greeen
Needles: US 5
So far so good, In this picture I was almost finished with the increases, but of course since taking this photo I am finished with the increasess. Yay me, I finally feel like I am making progress on it.
