So the Saga that is my Jaywalker socks continues…...Last time I was here, my socks were back on track or so I thought. It turns out that I had to frog the socks, again…….. The socks were still too tight. So this time I frogged to the ribbing and changed to a size US 2 needles to continue the sock. The problem was I felt like that fabric that was being made was too gappy and there were HOLES where the joins were. I especially did not like that. So off to the frog pond they went.
I think it is time to take a break with thist color and start with a new color.
The yarn I am using now is also Lorna's Laces, in Pewter. I t is very nice not one shade, it is made up of 3 different shades. Very nice!!!! I am back to using Sizee 1's, but I am knitting the larger size now. It is still a little bit tight, so we will see what I do for the next Jaywalker's.
As for these socks, so far so good. I have actually made good progress. Which is surprising as I thought it would have gone much slower . When I wrote this it was Monday, it is now Thursday at 1 am. Here is where I am now:
In fact, as I am typing this post. I have turned the heel and started on the gussets. I can't wait until I get to the second sock! Here is one more shot of the sock.

Now for some other news. I am highly upset at the USPS!!! At about the time I ordered the Lorna's Laces Yarn (Ebay) I also ordered some LL's from another seller. This was a around Christmas I believe. Well my Pewter Sock yarn came, but the other yarn never came. I gave it some time, with It being the Holidays and all. But WTF!!! it is January 11, 2006 and my yarn is not here and not to mention The USPS website said it was delivered on Monday. but it is not here. I am so heated right now. I have to go to the post office and see whats the deal. I really want my yarn. Any way I have more to say but It is 1:30 am and I have to get up for work in a couple of hours. Bye!!!
BTW: Did I tell you I love this pattern, It is so easy to learn and remember!!! :)
