I can't believe I last posted in May, has it really been that long? Life has really been kickimg my butt and sitting down to blog is really hard these days. But I love my blog and don't want it to die, although I will probably move it to a free site by the end of the year. There is a recession going on don't cha know! Anyway what have I been up to lately? Lot's I tell ya:
I finished the Ishbel scarf I was knitting:
You can see the detais about the project here!
Then I knit oops crocheted up a crocheted Celestine:
This was a fun one to do, very fiddley but fun. Details can be found here.
Then it was on to knitting up socks for my sister, whom I went to visit in Californina.
Fortunately they fit her perfectly, because we are definitely not the same size. Details found on Ravelry here.
I also finished KJ's new vest. The pattern is Little Nelson by Kayla Dyches, project info found here.
and finally, I finished my Knee High Socks, these were fun and and big pain to knit. I don't think I will ever knit knee highs againg especially with Regia yarn. I find it very rough to my hands. But here they are:
Of course project detail are on ravelry, right here in fact. That's alot of knitting right But it has been a long time.
So just quickly, currently on the needle are my mitered aquare baby blanket, I am 4 miteres away from being finished with the main portion of knitting yay. In preparation I started the seaming, So in the end it wont be so bad. Unfortunately I have no progress pics for that.
I also started a new crochet top called Clarice, and in a rare move I am using the same exact yarn and colorway. I love it even it the yarn is finger weight , But when it is finished it is going to be fabulous. I hope to finish it for my birthday, JUly 17th yall!!! GO CANCERS!!!!
The 3rd thing on the needles is a pair of socks ( well not a pair, since I am knitting them one a time). The pattern is the Leyburn socks, by Pepperknit. The yarn is Farmhouse Yarns, Fannies Fingering Weight yarn, which I love. This yarn is my new favorite yarn. I love the weight and colorways of the yarn. Here is my progress so far:
Any that's all I up to these days other than work and KJ. I will leave you with the adorable KJ:
Everyone Have a Happy Fourth of July!! and Happy Birthday all you Cancers and Leos!!!

I love your Celestine. I'm knitting the Leyburn socks too. KJ has grown so much! I remember when she was just a bump on your avatar. What a beauty. I'm sure she will keep you smiling even when life is kicking your butt.
